1970 Triumph Bonneville 120R (Export model) in Weybridge, Surrey for sale

For sale by auction on Saturday 06 June 2015 with Historics at Brooklands, Brooklands Motor Racing Circuit, Weybridge, Surrey, Call 0 The Bonneville was undoubtedly the most iconic model that ever emerged from the Hinckley factory. It was named after the Triumph twin enjoyed remarkable sporting success and set world speed records on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. In 1955, Triumph power set a speed record of 193mph and in 1962, raised the record to almost 225mph. Unfortunately the BSA group collapsed in 1973 and Triumph merged with Norton-Villiers. The original American logbook is showing the American owner as a Mr. Dennis Daniel of Chicago Illinois. The current owner is the second UK owner since 1992 and commissioned a splendid restoration to show-winning standards. It has only done a handful of miles since the project was completed. Supplied with V5 registration document and a lever arch file full of history and well over £10,000 worth of invoices; plus the all-important matching frame and engine numbers complete the package.
